See Yourself Health Receives Second Round of Funding from NIH
On September 12, 2022, See Yourself Health LLC received $1.9 million in funding from Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) from the National Institute of Aging (NIA) of the National Institute of Health (Award Number R44AG072990). In 2020, See Yourself Health was awarded Phase I SBIR Project to create a cloud-based product with simple navigation and communication mechanisms. The virtual platform has been successful in demonstrating the feasibility of aging adults from the comfort of their own homes. With this Phase II SBIR, See Yourself Health aims to further improve the usability of the platform and create personalized engagement tools to maximize user experience. Key features that will be implemented are avatar customization, a peer-matching algorithm, and a dashboard for data reporting and analytics capabilities.
